Juna Amagara, founded in 2004 exists to take in the most vulnerable orphan children and raise them up to be spectacular adults. We run four schools in 5 communities, caring for over 800 children. Our young adult program prepares students for the real world. Many of the first kids in the program have graduated university as teachers, engineers, pastors, social workers, administrators. Many have returned to the ministry to teach. We do significant community development. Our HEAL Medical clinic sees more than 4,000 patients per year. Our slum ministry in Kampala saves the lives of people of all ages.
The mission of this ministry is to gently raise up at-risk children in Uganda and equip them with the tools they need to become exceptional leaders within their communities.
By providing children with safe shelter, quality education, balanced nutrition, health education, faith training and vocational opportunity, we are launching a generation of Godly leaders who will be a force for positive change throughout Africa. This is our vision.
