About:
In the summer of 2012 Stephanie Farmer, affectionately known as Ms. Steph, started a program called Ms. Steph’s Science Club, SSC. The program was birthed out of what Ms. Steph observed to be missing in the community, an affordable science enrichment program that encouraged Harlem youth to go into the STEAM fields.
Shortly after launching SSC, Ms. Steph, realized it needed an organization to house the program and Triple F Empowerment was established. What was a simple summer workshop has grown into a full service STEAM Enrichment program for youth. Our services include Summer Science Club, Saturday Science Club, 1-on-1 Tutoring, Mentoring Program, Toddler Science Class and Traveling Science Teacher Initiative.
Mission:
Our mission is to inspire, empower and encourage young people of Harlem, ages 2-18, to pursue education and careers in the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) fields.
